Harmony Public Schools campuses in the San Antonio/Laredo/Brownsville Area will host the 2018-2019 student admission lottery at 1:30 pm, on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. This will be held at the Harmony Science Academy-San Antonio campus located at 8505 Lakeside Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78245.
This lottery is open to the public.
We will also have a live stream of the lottery at Harmony School of Excellence Laredo, located at 4401B San Francisco Ave, Laredo, TX 78041
Please be advised that district policy prohibits non-staff visitors on school grounds during certain test administration days. This policy will be in effect on the following dates: February 20 – February 22.
If you are scheduled for any type of visit, for a parent conference or to provide service on this day please reach out to your school point of contact to reschedule or for specific questions.

HSI – Laredo students second grade through fifth grade will be taking the Practice STAAR Tests February 20 – February 23. Please make sure your child arrives to school by 7:40AM on these mornings well rested and having had a good breakfast. If the students will be having breakfast at school, please make sure they arrive at 7:15AM to have enough time to eat.
Tips for good test taking:
- Get a good nights rest
- Eat a healthy breakfast
- Be at school on time
- Bring a positive attitude
- Bring your favorite reading book

HPS Child Find Policy
It is the policy of the Harmony Public Schools to ensure that
- All children with disabilities enrolled in the charter school regardless of the severity of their disability, and who are in need of special education and related services, are identified, located, and evaluated; and
- A practical method is developed and implemented to determine which children are currently receiving needed special education and related services.
